Vestiaire Meets Kenneth Goh

We sit down with the Editor-in-Chief of Harper’s Bazaar Singapore.

One of Singapore’s top editors, Kenneth Goh is also a big fan of Vestiaire Collective. Ahead of the New Year’s wardrobe detox, he gives us a few useful tips and insights into his own collection.

Why is a wardrobe detox a good idea?

For me, it’s been a long time coming and it’s given me the opportunity to see how special pieces can go to a new home and hopefully, give the new wearer the same joy that piece of clothing gave me!

What are your top tips for clearing your wardrobe?

Wardrobe detoxing takes a strong will, and a good assistant to help you pack and work out which pieces you can still wear and enjoy. Most of all, it allows you to see how your fashion journey has morphed…

Why did you decide to sell with Vestiaire Collective?

I wanted to find a good home for many of my fashion pieces and the curated approach at Vestiaire aligns perfectly with many of my more adventurous fashion finds.

Why are you supporting Fashion Revolution with your wardrobe sale?

I’ve been so fortunate in my job that I get access to wonderful runway pieces and I feel that I can help in my own small way. Fashion Revolution is most in line with what I do with Harper’s Bazaar to create more conversations around the idea of giving a second life to vintage pieces.

And finally, what’s the one item you could never let go of?

That’d be my Cartier love bracelet which was a 10th anniversary gift from my partner.
