Late-90s / early-00s Polo by Ralph Lauren script crewneck in a washed-out berry / wine red. Classic blue neck tag, boxy body and big single-hit “Polo” script across the chest – peak Y2K Polo sportswear vibes.

The colour is the star: evenly sun-faded with lighter pink hits and speckling across the front and right cuff that read like old bleach/paint drips. Looks like a painter’s sweatshirt in the best way – proper patina piece, not a flat deadstock hoodie.

Era: c. 1998–2002

Tag: “Polo by Ralph Lauren” blue label, size L + factory code “58”

Fabric: 82% cotton / 18% poly fleece, made in Philippines (Poloco S.A.S.)

Condition (vintage):
Strong overall but lived-in. Uniform fade, paint/bleach speckling front + right cuff, two small pinholes on upper back, light pilling and general wear. Not washed or treated by me – any stains/marks are priced in and sold as-is.

Perfect if you’re into sun-faded RL, 90s / Y2K sportswear and pieces that don’t look fresh off the rack.
