Extremely rare vintage Hermès silk scarf "Mosaïque - Les Auriges" by Hugo Grygkar.

This scarf is mentioned in the Dictionnaire illustré des carré Hermès and is highly sought after by collectors (image attached).

The scarf, titled "Mosaïque" but also known as "Les Auriges", depicts a 3rd century AD Roman mosaic originally from the Villa dei Severi in Baccano (now housed in the Palazzo Massimo in Rome).

Hand-rolled hems. Size approximately 88 x 84 cm

Features the old Hermès Paris logo, no care label (due to its age).

Fairly good overall vintage condition, considering its age, although there are some signs of use (tiny pinholes, barely visible pulled threads, a few stains). I have not taken it to the dry cleaners, but that might help remove these imperfections. Please check all attached images in the listing, or feel free to request additional photos.

Carré de soie Hermès vintage extrêmement rare « Mosaïque - Les Auriges » par Hugo Grygkar.

Ce foulard est mentionné dans le Dictionnaire illustré des carrés Hermès et est très recherché par les collectionneurs (image ci-jointe).

Le foulard, intitulé « Mosaïque » mais également connu sous le nom de « Les Auriges », représente une mosaïque romaine du IIIe siècle après J.-C., originaire de la Villa dei Severi à Baccano (aujourd'hui hébergée au Palazzo Massimo à Rome).

Ourlets roulés à la main. Taille environ 88 x 84 cm

Présente l'ancien logo Hermès Paris, sans étiquette d'entretien (en raison de son âge).

Assez bon état général vintage, compte tenu de son âge, malgré quelques signes d'utilisation (minuscules trous d'épingle, fils tirés à peine visibles, quelques taches). Je ne l'ai pas apporté au pressing, mais cela pourrait aider à éliminer ces imperfections.
