History of the scarf:
In Brazil, the Indian has always combined feathers with its history, its rites, its festivals: sumptuous headdresses and finery, jewelry ornaments, musical instruments... Explosions of color. The art of the feather developed in a green and dark nature, where the plume of birds surpasses that of flowers. More than a thousand species, some of which are unique in the world, offer an incredible palette of colors and shapes. De tout temps au Brésil l'indien a mêlé les plumes à son histoire, à ses rites, à ses fêtes: coiffes et parures somptueuses, ornements de bijoux, instruments de musique... Explosions de couleurs. L'art de la plume s'est développé dans une nature verte et sombre, où le panache des oiseaux surpasse celui des fleurs. Plus de mille espèces, dont certaines uniques au monde, offrent une incroyable palette de couleurs et de formes. Par ailleurs, parmi les 350 000 indiens qui peuplent le Brésil, 60% vivent dans la forêt tropicale où les tribus isolées restent, aujourd'hui encore, totalement coupées du reste du monde.
