An exceptional model designed by Joachim Metz, first released in 1993. This bold and striking design commemorates the creation of the European Union, which took place on November 1, 1993. Today, the EU brings together 27 member states, and its headquarters are located in Brussels, at Schuman Roundabout.

Each of the four corners of the scarf features a different symbol drawn from Greek mythology. For example, the lyre symbolizes wisdom and moderation, while the caduceus—a staff entwined with two snakes and carried by Hermes—represents trade and negotiation.

The French inscription placed on the scroll serves as a reminder not to take the gifts we receive for granted and to cultivate love and harmony—both in our attitudes and in our actions.

The scarf is in very good condition. Minor imperfections are shown in the last photos.
The silk has a beautiful sheen, produces a pleasant rustling sound to the touch, and the corners have retained their full shape.
