Christian Dior vintage shoulder bag from the highly collectible John Galliano era, crafted in the rare Dior Honeycomb (hexagon) monogram jacquard canvas in a rich burgundy/wine tone, finished with smooth leather corner protectors and the iconic oversized Dior logo golden and silver hardware.

This Honeycomb pattern predates and is often mistaken for the Trotter monogram, but is in fact the rarer and more sought-after Dior canvas from the late 1990s / early 2000s.

Condition:

The canvas exterior is in very good vintage condition with no tears or structural issues. The leather corners show natural darkening and patina from age, which is typical and expected for this model and adds to its vintage character. There are some minor strays of leather edges due to normal use. The adjustable leather straps also have some signs of normal wear consistent with age.

The interior coated lining remains intact and stable — mild peeling, but no powdering, and no sticky residue. This is a rare and highly desirable feature for Dior bags of this era, as many have already deteriorated internally.

A beautiful and increasingly hard-to-find archival Dior piece that represents true Galliano-era vintage Dior.
