Genny vintage 90s sleeveless sheath dress 100% salt and pepper wool Made in Italy size 44 Italy

Purchased by my mother in the early 90s in a historic boutique in our town and worn only on a few occasions, this sleeveless sheath dress is a delight from that era.
The brand is Genny, owned by a company in Ancona founded by Arnaldo Girombelli and specialized in women's clothing, which from 1973 until the early 90s was designed by the same designer and founder of a much more famous Italian luxury house. As a clue, I'll say that it is the brand that has the head of Medusa as its logo. 💃🏻
Made of 100% wool with a mottled effect, lined inside in acetate (64%) and cupro (36%), it is soft, warm, comfortable and enveloping, while remaining elegant and refined. Ideal for a bon ton look, reminiscent of the 60s.
The color is dark gray with white dots scattered throughout the fabric, while the lining is an even darker gray, almost close to black.
The size shown on the label is a 44 Italy/40 France. The measurements, taken with the garment lying flat on the table, are: 
-width under the armpits: 45 cm;
-width measured at the waist: 42 cm;
-length measured on the back: 75 cm (it is a mini dress, it reaches above the knee).

Acquistato da mia madre nei primi anni '90 in una storica boutique della nostra città e indossato solo in poche occasioni, questo abito tubino senza maniche è una delizia di quell'epoca.
Il marchio è Genny, di proprietà di un'azienda di Ancona fondata da Arnaldo Girombelli e specializzata in abbigliamento femminile, che dal 1973 fino ai primi anni '90 è stato disegnato dallo stesso stilista e fondatore di una ben più famosa casa di lusso italiana. Come indizio, dirò che è il marchio che ha come logo la testa di Medusa. 💃🏻
Realizzato in 100% lana con effetto screziato, foderato internamente in acetato (64%) e cupro (36%), è morbido, caldo, confortevole e avvolgente, pur rimanendo elegante e raffinato. Ideale per un look bon ton, che ricorda gli anni '60.
Il colore è grigio scuro con pois bianchi sparsi su tutto il tessuto, mentre la fodera è di un grigio ancora più scuro, quasi nero.
La taglia indicata sull'etichetta è una 44 Italia/40 Francia. Le misure, prese con il capo steso sul tavolo, sono: 
-larghezza sotto le ascelle: 45 cm;
-larghezza misurata in vita: 42 cm;
-lunghezza misurata sulla schiena: 75 cm (è un mini abito, arriva sopra il ginocchio).
