ISSEY MIYAKE Vintage Pleats Please Long Shirt.

A long-line button-up shirt from Issey Miyake's Pleats Please line, rendered in
the label's signature micro-pleating and printed with an abstract multicolour
pattern - a speckled composition of tan, green, blue, pink and cream flecks on a
dark ground. Issey Miyake opened his Tokyo studio in 1970 and launched Pleats
Please in 1993; the collection reinvented ready-to-wear by pleating finished
garments in heat-set polyester, making them light, packable and instantly
recognizable.

The shirt features a soft camp-style collar, full button-front placket and
straight long sleeves, cut to a fluid, elongated silhouette that falls well past
the hip. Vertical plissé runs head-to-tail, holding shape through wear and wash.
