An extraordinary archival set from Jil Sander’s early years, dating back to the 1980s. This ensemble combines a sharply tailored black wool coat-dress with fine pinstripes and a fully integrated architectural design: multiple deep slits run from hem to hip, revealing a layered underpiece crafted from flowing black silk panels. The movement this piece creates is stunning – a visual interplay between precise structure and fluid motion.

The second part of the ensemble is a voluminous silk skirt, constructed from numerous triangular and rectangular chiffon panels, attached beneath the coat.
