Authentic Indian sari in red georgette chiffon, approximately 6 meters long, in excellent condition.
The fabric is entirely decorated with Chikankari embroidery, the precious artisanal technique originating from Lucknow: delicate floral vines run across the entire surface, enriched with three-dimensional raised flowers worked in a knot (Murri/Phanda technique) and embellished with scattered red micro-sequins.
The inner band — the part worn against the waist — is in silk, and the joining seam between the silk and the transparent chiffon appears to be handmade, a detail that characterizes higher quality saris.
The red color, bright and deep, is the quintessential color for ceremonies in Indian tradition.

Il tessuto è interamente decorato con ricamo Chikankari, la pregiata tecnica artigianale originaria di Lucknow: viticci floreali delicati percorrono tutta la superficie, arricchiti da fiori tridimensionali in rilievo lavorati a nodo (tecnica Murri/Phanda) e impreziositi da micro-paillettes rosse sparse.
La fascia interna — la parte che si porta a contatto con la vita — è in seta, e la cucitura di giunzione tra la seta e il chiffon trasparente appare fatta a mano, dettaglio che caratterizza i sari di qualità superiore.
