Poupette St. Barth. is a collection is designed from Ato Z on the Caribbean island 
and to a very large extent also manufactured there

in small handicraft workshops. "48 small hands produce our clothes,"
explains founder Monique Giraud on her website. 


Monique Giraud brings out new colours and prints every season and each one is an ode to

summer. It is fashion that is fun to wear and embellishes. 


So is this mint green dress, which uses particularly precious fabrics. The

multi-layered skirt part is made of the finest silk and is only sewn to the top
at the back. The top is a wrap-around top that ties around the waist. If you
want to show a little belly, lace it higher, if you don't, lace it lower. The
top is made of viscose and, in keeping with the romantic style of the brand, is
decorated with small ruffles. The wide swinging skirt is so leict and airy that
it gives a lot of cooling in summer. The long sleeves, again made of silk, make
the midi dress also suitable for a cocktail in the evening.
