COURRÈGES Vintage Cardigan.

A delicate open-front cardigan in fine black ribbed knit, trimmed along the
collar, placket, hem and cuffs with a soft multicolored floral print in lavender,
green, cream and dusty blue. Courrèges, founded in Paris in 1961 by André
Courrèges, is remembered for reshaping mid-century French fashion with clean
modernist lines; this piece belongs to the maison's softer romantic register,
where knitwear is finished with couture-style details.

The cardigan opens at the front without closure, layered like a twinset, and is
framed by a fine crochet-lace edging. The knit is textured with a subtle
pointelle stitch and drapes lightly over the body. The inner neck carries the
"courrèges" label with the house's signature mark.
