SPENCER VLADIMIR Black & Ivory Silk Hand Knit Sweater SIZE Small Oversized Fit

Striking black and ivory hand knit sweater from the design team of Vladimir Teriokhin, a former ballet dancer, and his creative partner, Allyson Spencer, hence "Spencer Vladimir." This sweater is made from 100% silk yarn, and although the label says it is handknit, it looks like it incorporates a lot of crochet elements as well. This is the kind of sweater that I fall in love with: it's black and white (off-white, actually), it's casual, cozy, and a little bit slouchy, and it looks like it's just fun to wear. The sweater is a pullover style with a boat neck, extra long raglan sleeves, and the zigzag pattern is retained along the hemline. The sleeves have black ties braided into the knit on the sides as an accent. (We tried to get a good photo of them, but not sure how well we succeeded.) The knit is slightly loose, so it could be worn "as is" in warmer weather, or with an underpinning in cold weather. Labeled size XS/S but has an oversized fit, so might also work for slightly larger sizes who prefer a fit a less oversized look. Please refer to the measurements for the best guidance regarding actual size.* 

NOTE: Spencer Vladimir's incredibly creative sweaters sell for between $800 and $2500. This sweater would fall somewhere in the middle of that price range.
