1970s Modernist Rhodium Plated Spiral Link Necklace with Faux Carnelian Cabochon Center and Box Clasp with Single Clear Round Rhinestone on Top. Marked "U.C. Ugo Correani Made in Italy". Center: 2 inches long. Overall Measurements: 7 1/2 inches long by 5 1/2 inches wide. Inside Circumference Approximately 17 1/2 inches. Condition: Very Good except there is some crazing on the metal coating of the clasp which may be an issue at a later date but is currently not very noticeable. Ugo Correani was an Italian fashion jewelry designer who created fashion jewelry from 1973 until his death in 1992. He created jewelry for some of Europe's most prestigious fashion houses including Versace, Valentino, Chloe and Christian Lacroix. There are not many of his jewels on the market, and they are highly prized by collectors.
